

Place Jean-Paul-Riopelle harbors the fountain-sculpture named "La Joute", by the Quebec artist Jean-Paul Riopelle. This monumental sculpture is mounted inside a circular basin, where a circle of fire appears on the surface of the water during the sculpture's performance, as the artist has originally envisioned.
